Keep yourself, your family, your home and your community safer.
Learn how in our FEMA-sponsored CERT Classes
Our region offers many growing opportunities especially in the area of CERT, Community Emergency Response Team, training. CERT is a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) program that is provided to citizens throughout the United States. The classes offered by many King County cities and local organizations provide an excellent base for citizens to engage in aiding their own neighborhoods and workplaces with skills to increase the resilience to emergencies and hazardous situations here in the King County region.
The Carnation-Duvall Citizen Corps Council CERT program is soliciting (1) CERT trainers, (2) help in educating the community to appreciate the need for emergency training, and (3) CERT training schedulers. To volunteer for the CERT program or to schedule your own training, contact cert@carnationduvallcitizencorps.org.
The cities and organizations linked below can provide you training opportunities close to your own home.
